Matthew James Property Consultants was established in 2018 when, after the birth of his first child, Matthew decided he wanted to grow a business that his family and clients would be proud of.
As a family owned and run business, we strive to deliver a service to customers that is beyond what you’d ordinarily expect. We combine our years of knowledge with a truly personalised service and we offer competitive fees, no minimum contracts, and high quality marketing material; this all ensures that we achieve high market rents and let properties quickly.
We use all forms of marketing to showcase your property to ensure it’s placed in front of applicants who are actively looking. We not only advertise on national websites such as Rightmove and Zoopla, but also, send ‘direct mail outs’, and utilise the ever-growing social media platforms along with our own website.
Your property is photographed taking into consideration its best angles. Combined with floorplans, these photographs will encourage applicants to contact us to arrange a viewing where we will also supply coloured brochures highlighting the benefits of your property.
We encourage all applicants to view the property in person, not only so they can get a real feel of your property, but this allows us to get a real understanding of your potential tenants.
We offer a portal to Landlords and Tenants to view the tenancy agreements, rent statements, check on the status of maintenance issues and tenancy agreements renewals.

Matthew made the decision to set up his own company after accumulating over 18 years’ experience, running offices for independent agencies specialising in lettings and property management.
Matthew prides himself on going the extra mile for his clients; no task is too big. He thrives on being involved in all aspects of the company, from taking on new business to making the office cups of tea.
Amy MasonAccounts and Administration
Amy joined the team in 2021. Amy has actually supported Matthew since the early days of the business, then after her maternity leave ended in 2021, she made it official and joined the team to assist with the growing demands of the company.
Amy has 12 years’ experience in the property Industry, from working for directors and the CEO of a well-known high street agency, to working in Property Law dealing with conveyancing.
Her varied experience is an asset to the company.

Georgia joined the team in 2019, bringing with her 12 years’ experience in the property industry.
Georgia has a background of working for independent agents, from working as a lettings negotiator to accounts manager and everything in between. This experience means she truly understands our company’s values and the importance of providing a personal and tailored service to every client whether you are a landlord, tenant, or contractor.
